Jim's '61 Bubbletop

Five years of hard work. Won't do it again. Love it anyway. All original, 84,000 miles, 348, 4-speed Muncie. Actually gets good gas mileage.

This was our first car. My wife and I took our honeymoon in our black on red bubble top. We sold it when we bought our brand new 67 Mustang fastback.

Jim, that looks just like my car as a 18 till 22 years old. Mine had chrome wheels 348 3 2's & org. 4 speed in the floor. Roll & Tuck in back & front & all red. I also had a Lear Jet 8 track tape deck in it. I sure do miss that car.

Jim, Your '61 is a fine looking ride. The '61 was one of my favorites. If I remember right they were the first year with the 409? Very sweet ride. "Happy Trails" oNiSaC1

Jim , I once had a 61 convertible with 348 and 3-2's 4spd. Some one added the factory 3-2'2 and some old american 5 spokes. I think they call them torque thrust now days. I sold it to get a Harley, go figure. Now I have a 32 Ford Roadster High Boy.mind I happy.
