FOR SALE Ray's 67 Mustang

I restored my car 20+ yrs. ago myself in my home garage on a rotisserie made with 2 modified engine stands. Did "everything myself" including paint, interior and all. Have owned for over 25 yrs. Enjoy driving and going to area car shows throughout the summer.

Comp cam, Windsor jr heads, forged pistons, windage tray, edelbrock performer intake, 650 holley double pump carb. and edelbrock fuel pump, msd 6al ignition with 6,000 rpm chip in rev limter and msd mechanical advance distributor. High volume water pump, flow master exhaust with H pipe and flow master 40 mufflers, stainless steel megs tips. CenterForce clutch.

This picture was the engine with stock exhaust manifolds until recently. Now has hooker super comp ceramic coated full length headers added.

More recent photo's of engine. Does not have headers yet in these photo's. Also, the video was taken before headers added.

Hooker Super Comp. ceramic coated headers added. Was getting by with regular. I now had to go to mid grade gas. Still has the stock size exhaust pipe of 2". Next mod might be 2 1/2" pipe!

New Grant steering wheel added. Put in this three spoke wheel instead. I think it goes with the 60's better than the Grant 4 spoke I used before. What do you think?

I also put the Hurst T-handle back on the shifter. I like it much better. Also added the Hurst Equipped emblem on the dash.

This was done at World of Wheels car show yrs. back by an airbrush artist on T-shirts with a picture of your car you provide for him to go by.

The next 3 photo's are World of Wheels car show in March 2000. This was at the DECC arena and was our club display.

Take a look at the front license plate. Has the image from the T shirt on it.

Such icons!! Both came to America in 1964!!

Video and audio clips

Just me having some fun when my son took this with his phone camera.

Very nice 67 Pony, Ray. You certainly did a lot of work on the original 289. What's the HP now. I too like the Grant 3 spoke wheel the best, but not the dice. Takes away from the good stuff. Great off the line with the high rear end gears. Love the candy apple red too and interior. Regards, Mario

Ray, I always admire the tasteful upgrades and the meticulous work you have put into your Mustang. That video clip reminds me of the good old days back in the 60's.

Thanks for the comments! Cellphone cameras have come a long ways since that was taken. For me the car is a way back time machine.

Hey Ray, try out the new game Brandon and I worked on called Name the cars with the Hidden Gas Caps. If you ever pumped gas at a station and are our age you should do well. The game went live today. Regards, Mario

Yes Ray it's fun playing and the more you play and see the right answers the more you learn. It was great growing up in that era pumping gas and trying to figure out where to put the gas! Great Mustang you have, regards, Mario.

Nice to see your 67 Mustang again Ray. I always loved those set in headlights. It's a beauty and hopefully you can get to show it at car shows this year now that restrictions are being lifted all over. Cheers, Mario
