PaPa Dart's 72 Dodge Dart Swinger

Crayola Green

Sit down in the driver’s seat and buckle the seat belt, stick the key in the ignition and give it a turn, two cranks and then that familiar RUMBLE. Man if that doesn't make the hair stand up on the back of your neck you need to make a Doctor's appointment. Got to love the old Mopars!!.

340 cu in. Edelbrock manifold “J” heads 2.02 / 1.60 valves 750cfm Edelbrock Performer Hedman Headers 727 manual shift transmission 8.75 / 4:10 sure grip rear end Nothing but fun!

We had it painted about 5 years ago. The motor is out of a 1970 dart that was gone through about 12 years back. It has a 4:11 positive traction rear end, 727 torqueflite transmission, the headers are about a year old. We were going to go through it again but I had a stroke and we own a prostreet Nova as well so I couldn't work on two cars. We loved the Dart but it was just sitting up without attention for a couple of years after my stroke. It needs some attention but it will make a great show car.
