jack's '55 bird

At home in the garage..

At the 'James Dean Festival' Fairmont, In. Sept. 2010

I have owned this bird since 1979. I painted it, rebuilt the engine, trans., brakes, and all the usual things old cars usually need. I drove it two years to the "Cruise the Coast', it has been to the James Dean Festival 3 times, and many shows in several states. I am located in southern Il.<JC>

Cruise Nite at Benton, Ill.

I quit smoking cigarettes when they were 35 cents a pack, took the money I saved and bought my 55 baby bird on e bay - I saved it from being under salt water in New Orleans just about 3 months before hurricane Andrew hit there, now it's sitting in my garage here in sunny miami, haha.[br] Dino in sunny Miami
