Gil and Maria's '58 President

A Spirited Survivor

Middle-aged widow purchased car new and owned the '58 for over thirty years.

The original 289 with Carter four-barrel and dual exhaust was updated to approximate R1 performance specs (including AFB carb and intake) when otherwise excellent engine was torn down for leaking head gasket.

Only originally installed factory options were automatic, heater/defroster, undercoating, mirrors.
