Running a Sinister Diesel EGR delete, Turbonetics 62MM non-vgt ball bearing turbo, MBRP 5" exhaust, 4" downpipe, FASS fuel system, SCT tuner with Elite Diesel Engineering fuel/trans tunes & a Misihimoto aluminum radiator. Has over 250,000 miles on it, is NOT studded yet nor have the injectors been touched, and has been by far & away the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. Knock on wood, but has NEVER failed to start or left me stranded. So all you 6-oh naysayers stick that one up your pipe. I do believe it takes a special way of thinking to understand what these motors like and in my opinion, the best thing you can do is keep the morons at the dealers out from under your hood and DITCH THAT FACTORY VGT TURBO! Aside from localized overheating which will kill any engine, excessive backpressure (and trapped heat as a byproduct) is a huge contributing factor to these things blowing head gaskets & the factory turbo produces that in abundance! You can also smile as you pass the pump because your mileage will go up & your oil stays cleaner longer.
