mike's 71 Elcamino 454 SS 4Speed Muncie

The car is a 71 with a 70 nose i like the looks of the grill and two head lights better.All paint & body was done by DR customz Maxton NC.Completed in Dec.09 all rust was cut out and metal replaced with GM stamped parts all floors, bed and back wall are factory. The hood is Harwood fiberglass 4" outlaw bolton. The motor was built by Hickman's Performance started as a 454 bored .60 to 468 motor has all the go fast bolt on goodies last year i replaced all the lifters and push rods & guide plates and 1.8 roller tip rocker arms and a Melling high volume oil pump with new pickup and hex pump shaft and a new starter . Rear suspension has been upgraded with Jegster lift bars replacing lower control arms,Jegster adj. upper control arms and Moog HD coil springs all so have Richmond gear powertrax posi unit to go into the 12bolt not installed yet.Exhaust is ceramic coated inside an out headers with 2 1/2" pipes flowmaster mufflers.Trans is Muncie 4 speed with 11" Centerforce dual friction clutch and Hurst comp. plus shifter with Mopar pistol grip handle.Motor and trans mounts and sway bar bushing are polyurethane.The bucket seats have new factory covers with new carpet i have new headliner and sail panals not installed yet all weather strip on doors and windows is new floor is painted with Por-15 and has DynaMat insulation. Bed has spray on liner. Has power steering and power disc brakes drum on rear.
