1962 Chrysler 300 Sport Convertible

1962 Chrysler 300 Sport Convertible ....I was the winning bidder on eBay in May 2002. I drove the car home and it's been a pleasure taking it to car shows and cruise nites. I live near Philly and its been as far West as Pittsburgh and as far North to Lowell, Mass and the lower parts of N.H. The engine is a 413 with a single Carter AFB. Transmission is a Pushbutton Torqueflite. I installed Stainless Steel exhaust, upgraded the igintion to Chrysler Electronic Ignition and installed Disc Brakes up front.

That is one great looking car. My friend bought the twin to that one. Great looking dash and the push button, the rounded speedometer. It's that the one H H daughter owned? I was 17 back them and we had a great memories, I had a 58 fury with the two fours and the 360 B Block at the time.

Your car is a beautiful brute alright! I also own a 1962 Chrysler 300 Sport convertible. My baby is black with the red interior. A top of the line ($$$$$$) restoration has made her a big time award winner at the car shows! My best friend likes to say " without the fins, the 62 becomes an ageless beauty". You have a great automobile. Keep her that way and future generations will thank you! All the best,Frank

Very cool '62 Chrysler. My dad still has a '61 DeSoto that is his favorite and holds the most memories from his earlier years. It still has the big wings out back and the front greatly resembles your car. The ladies seem to like your red convertible as well.....awesome! Keep cruisin!

Love it! My first car was a '62 Newport with the 361 2 BBL. If you get a chance, post a pic of the dash - it was one of the most unique aspects of the 62's... Thanks for the memories!!
