Boots Langley's 1972 GMC

1500 Super Custom

This was a scruffy, primered work truck when I bought it. Living on a fixed income, it's taken a few years to improve it's looks but it is getting better.

day 1

Here's why I spent $1200. A Turbo 400 behind a rompin rebuilt 350+ci. SBC with; Camel Hump Heads, HiPo Coil, Blueprinted Hei & Silicone Wires, Rumpety Rump cam, Edelbrock Torquer II, Holley 670cfm Street Avenger, Doug Thorley big tube headers & Dual 2 1/2" Flow Masters and a 6500 red line!! I now have just over $3000 in it. Not bad for a tire shreading big ol truck!
