This is my 69 Camaro Z11 Pace car. We bought the car already restored about 6 years ago and truly love it. Only 3675 of these were built and from what I have read, only 1500 to 1800 have survived.
Had fun with this classic parked at the local Drive In. Don't tell the owner that I drove out there during the day time!
Getting ready for a cruise at the Goodguys show in Nashville. What a great day to be with fellow car nuts.
Great times with the top down catching the wind or cruising under the stars with your honey!
Ok, here is the hounds-tooth with the wood grain design on the dash. Center console with gauges.
Don't let the caution flags slow you down, just stay in order and in line!
AHA, the classic drive in background! Can't beat it. It's like a time stamp. I recall my girl and I in my 69 442 on Saturday nights watching movies like "MASH" and "THE GRADUATE"....
You can't go wrong with a Z11. They look great in both coupe and convertible.
Well it looks like I need to call directory assistance and get the area code for the HiWay 50 Drive In. I got the last 7 digits of that phone number.........off the sign. RELAX...just kidding.
I attend a car show every year at HAARS Drive In in Dillsburg PA and it's great to relive the memories while there are still drive ins to attend. HARRS is open during the summer and they draw a good crowd and thankfully only show PG rated movies. It's great to take the kids there and let them experience something I thought would be around for decades.
Great looking car and great background shot. Now put some interior pics of the Houndstooth....no Z11 photo session is complete without it. You didn't think you were going to get away with that did you????? You post the pics, I don't call the owner of the Drive IN........deal?????????? :-)
