62VW Single Cab Truck

This is my 1962 VW Single Cab. The vehicle was imported from Germany to Montreal, Quebec in February of 1962. It was fully restored 15 years ago while it was owned in Saskatchewan, Canada. It has a 1835CC engine.

I purchased the vehicle 5 years ago and drove it down to our second home in Arizona. I imported it into the U. S. In the fall of 2017. It is now a registered Arizona vehicle.

Since having the VW in Arizona I have been lucky enough to win the following: • Best Stock Single/Double Cab at Bugorama in 2015 and 2017 • Best of Show at Volkstock in 2017 • Special “Just Cuz It’s Cool” award at 2017 Good Guys Southwest Nationals • Best Foreign Truck at Queen Creek Kids Christmas Car Show in 2016 and 2017 • Best In Class at Apache Wells Car Show in 2018 • Best Foreign Car or Truck at Navy JROTC Car and Motorcycle Show at Apache Junction High School in 2018
