Your pic of the 2023 CORVETTE Z06 VIN 001 appears to be out of place. Actually, I like it better than the current generation, but that's just an old schooler's opinion.

Well, of all the luck, to be looking at this thread on Christmas Day. Now, is this a sign? Is there a C8 in my future? Is this a sign?
Ahhhhhh who am I kidding?
The design has grown on me, but sadly not the price. Yes now as low as $60K
I'm both afraid and amazed at the amount of technology they can JAM, I mean install in these rides. Even the needed GPS that can remember where speed bumps are and actually raise the front nose 2 inches BEFORE you get to it and remember the driveway you have at home as to prevent the dreaded nose scrape.
I believe engineers and designers have overstretched the boundaries of tech to the place where, just so you CAN do it, doesn't mean you SHOULD.
But don't let me rain, I mean SNOW, on your holiday.
Did you know you can even drive your C8 in snow? Just don't put chains on the wheels. That is forbidden.

Yes Rob the new C8 is Awesome! 1064 hp at 7000 rpm 9.6 sec qtr mi at 150 mph! I can't believe a stock Corvette has this much power! That's a lot of brute horsepower.
You and I have seen the growth of the Corvette over the decades and I'm glad it's still around. It is the Ultimate American Sports Car and I wish I could have owned one. At least you and Dave can say you owned one.
Happy New Year Rob, and I look forward to 2025 the year of Trump for us!! Mario

Corvette C8 2020 to Present is the eighth generation and the first mid-engine 6.2L LT2 495hp since its introduction in 1953. In 2020 the Corvette was the Motor Trend Car of the Year. It was also an Indy 500 Pace Car in 2020 and 2021. The C8 has two trunks one in front under the hood and one in back behind the mid-engine and the engine has two radiators one on each side. The 2022 C8 has a High-wing spoiler in Carbon Flash. The 2023 has an all-new 5.5-liter LT6, the highest-horsepower, naturally aspirated V8 to hit the market in any production car, ever, with 670HP. There is a 70th Anniversary Edition and 2023 Production starts May 9, 2022.
