Mario's Oyster Bay Car Show July 2nd 2024

1970 Chevy Nova SS 350

Another great Cruise Night Tuesday July 2nd the 6th weekly car show in our little town of Oyster Bay, Long Island, NY.

Main Street was closed to traffic, the Hot Rods and Classic Cars were parked on the side of the road for the spectators to enjoy.

Another Rock Band was playing those Classic Oldies and the young and old were getting into the party like atmosphere.

The local shops and eateries that give Oyster Bay its unique charm were all open selling their goods as well as some pop-up vendors in the street as well.

Oh Mario, you sure know how to make up for your slight oversite. It's all good Mario. Those 2 Novas are awesome, I could own or drive either.

I see your Tuesday nights are always booked and there's always something different. That Cord caught my eye. And I see a nice Woody Wagon. Nice touch. Plenty of Chebbies.

It's always good to see a hot rod GASSER at a show. Their unique stance deserves a second look. They're becoming rare at shows.

A corral of Mustangs always pleases the Blue Oval crowd, especially a rare GT350H2. That is one lonnnnnnnnnnnnng 59 Olds 98 and a 2 door to boot.

A bevy of 1955 Chevies is a sweet come upon as you stroll the streets. One even being the GASSER! They do make the Gasser Class a GAS.

A couple of pick'm up trucks for those lovers.

I guess I have to give the nod to the Cord. It's real, it's rare and a winner in my book.

Good thread, keep up the fine work no matter how hot the weather gets. I laughingly say that hiding inside from the century mark outside.

It at times like this when I see a snake slithering across a road in this heat I wonder what his belly must feel like. There are no slow snakes on a road in this season.

Thank you Rob, there were so many really nice classic cars I admired. Glad you liked the car show Rob.

The 2 Chevy Novas at the show were top notch and I made sure I got them in my post. Glad you liked them.

I agree the 37 Cord was the winner of the show. Not many around other than a museum where you have to pay top dollar. The owner is really a nice guy who loves cars.

Lets see what next week's show brings in.

Cheers to you Rob, Mario.
