Cobourg, Ontario, Canada Car Show.

Saturday, July, 13, 2024.

My brother Mike and I took in the 28th annual Cobourg car show. This great event has always been held at Victoria Park right at the shore of Lake Ontario in the beautiful town of Cobourg. Beautiful location for a car show and really good live music all day long. Excellent turn out of some really excellent vintage tin. Mike took his 62 Falcon and I took my 57 Pontiac. Check out the sweet rides. Cheers.

Hey George, Glad to see you're back to posting. I was just about to call out Dudley Doright of the Canadian Mounties to go search for you. Dudley was one of my favorite cartoon characters

Hey that Studebaker is my pick of the litter. Love that color.

I do like how you grouped the motivation picks together. Nice touch.

That 67 Ford Station Wagon has some fender badging, I wonder..390?? That'll move that blue oval room mobile down the road.

Glad you're back........Cheer, if I may borrow your sign off.

Rob

Rob, I remember Dudley very well as a kid back in the 60's. I would find Dudley's voice very annoying today though. Thank you for your kind thoughts. My pick would be that 30's Mack truck. It was perfectly restored. Cheers.

Hi George, I just saw your post of this car show from last week. Lots of nice cars and I would like to pick all the 50's cars you have on this post. Am I being greedy? But that is my best favorite decade of cars. I love the colors, styling and all the new options from that era.

I liked the Chevys, Fords, Pontiacs (including your 57), Plymouths, Desotos, Olds, Buicks, Mercurys, Chryslers, Caddys, and Imperial.

My favorite years are from 1955 to 1959. In my opinion those were the best of the best in the 50's.

Thanks for the show George. Take a look at my car show at Bellport from July 14. Lots of nice cars there. The 56 Chevy with the blown engine like you owned was awesome. Cheers, Mario
