Mario's Oyster Bay Car Show Aug 20, 2024.

1954 Ford Hot Rod.

The 12th weekly car show was held Tuesday Aug 20, 2024 on Main Street in our quaint town of Oyster Bay, NY.

Another wonderful day with Classic Cars and Hot Rods driving down Main Street, which again was closed to traffic for the car show.

A great treat was viewing a 1954 Ford Hot Rod in fiery orange paint with a super chromed blown engine. The local shops and restaurants were all open for us and an entertaining Rock Band was playing Oldies into the evening. Enjoy the show, Mario

A great summer evening at the Oyster Bay Car Show with another Rock Band playing our favorite oldies.

The 54 Ford Hot Rod was a rare sight with its Full Blown V8 engine so I picked it for my Cover on this Page. Enjoy the show! Mario

Good morning Mario, I'm enjoying your car show as I sip some coffee. Good way to start the day. Always thanking God for the blessings He bestows on us.

The 59 El Camino is a rare sight for me anyway. The Mustang 427GTR does tend to grab the eye of a car lover.

That 54 blown Ford with that flamboyount paint job is hard to ignore. And no show is complete without a nice Nova and the black one is stunning.

Nice work mi amigo. I hope to soon be able to see some local shows here when summer breaks, before I do.

Stay well and as Geo says: CHEERS

Thanks Rob for your early morning coffee chat and a tour of my car show.

The 54 Ford paint and crazy blown engine were loud and couldn't be resisted. My Dad's first New car was a 52 Ford very similar without the blown engine. I remember it well and I used to "drive" the car on my Dad's lap when I was 5 years old. No seat belts or car seats back then and yet I survived!

Our car shows in NY will be ending in Sept and yours in AZ will be beginning! I hope you get to see a few of them when the weather gets milder for you.

Cheers my friend, Mario

I agree George and you sure picked a lot of great cars. I like all the ones you picked but I'll be generous and pick some others.

First off I like the 32 Ford in Burgundy with tri power and Dixon Heads. A Classic car that will always live on.

49 Ford 2 dr with Lake Pipes. The car that saved Ford after the war. A nice soft custom.

52 Ford Convertible nice looking and rare. My Dad's First new car and his only Ford, then he switched to Chevy.

54 Ford with awesome Blown chromed engine and wild paint job. Lots of money invested in this hot rod. My cover pick.

56 Chevy Bel Air 2 tone HT. Always a favorite tri five. I know you owned one George.

57 Chevy Bel Air HT in black. The Icon of 50's cars and another favorite of mine.

59 Chevy El Camino. Chevy's answer to Ford's Ranchero. A nice soft custom.

67 Mustang GT427KR Fastback with beautiful chrome engine.

69 Camaro SS Black with RS option and 396 V8. Cheers, Mario
