Brampton, Ontario, Canada Car Show.

Sunday September 8, 2024.

I took in the annual Brampton car show that is dedicated to saving mens lives from Prostate cancer. This long running car show has raised money and awareness about the second biggest killer of men in Canada, the first being heart disease. At the age of 49 I got prostate cancer but was caught early enough that I did not have to die, I am now 65.This event has always had a massive turn out of cars and has always had a professional D J pumping out great tunes. I took my 57 Pontiac and my brother Mike took his 64 Econoline. Guys get yourselves checked out before you die a needless death. Check out the rides. Cheers.

Well George, I, for one, am glad you got it checked and tended to.

So far at 73.5, don't you like how kids used to go "I'm 3 and a half!", well I'm 73 and a half, and I've had symptoms or what they call false positives.

That hearse is a real eye-opener for your post. That SHOULD get your attention. Once again you posted some absolute beauties of cars and then the engine eye candy as well. You're making my decisions difficult for me Geo. :-)

I'm going outside the box George and choose the HEARSE. Just because it's rare to find and see a hearse at car shows. And considering it's an important part of the message for the show, I believe it deserves some recognition.

Yes sir, that PSA is the key, and so I get mine tested every 6 months. It sure beats having a colonoscopy. Thankfully all of mine were clear. Thank You, Lord.

Keep up the good work, Geo, and thanks for the message and reminder to us. Make today the best. Tomorrow is never guaranteed.

Cheers George......

Nice car show George raising money and awareness to the second biggest killer of men. This is one disease that is preventable if caught early, and that's the key. I get my PSA test done twice a year along with a complete physical.

I'm happy to hear you are well having gone through all that. Early detection is important. Thank you for your good advise to all.

And now for the show. I just love the Blue 69 Camaro RS/SS 350. It reminds me of my first new car, a Camaro SS350 with the "hockey stick" stripes. This one is a real beauty and all stock.

Next is the special 39 Chrysler Royal C-22 with all those options! Could he possibly be a relative of yours with a car load of options? That's amazing how well preserved and optioned out this car is. And equipped with a Banjo Steering Wheel too!

The 72 Buick Riviera is a nice rare car unique with its "Boat Tail" rear end. Did you get a picture of the rear? I saw one at a car show only once.

And Finally the 57 Chevy 210 2 door sedan looks like in Sea Mist Green paint and with a V8. Really clean and looking good!

Thanks for the car show George and Cheers! Mario
