I purchased this car in 1985 in Billings Montana. It was a basically rust free original 383 2bbl car with a white body, black top and black/copper colored interior.
I restified it in black and had an aftermarket interior sewn in with sewn seams to replicate the heat pleated effect from the factory since there was no replacement panels being made for the C body cars back then.
I had the engine rebuilt with a mild cam and stock carter 4bbl carb.
This car gets down the road with seemingly no effort or rattles and is a great pleasure to drive. It gets nearly 16 mpg cruising 75mph.
Since it's restification in 1985/86, I have driven it over 50K miles. Over the years, I have upgraded to an electronic ignition and dual master cylinder brakes for safety and better drivability. I also added a vintage AM/FM radio and right side rear view mirror.
