Quasar Blue 1967 Chevelle SS-396
4-speed and guts galore, it is a dream come true for me.
456 rear and plenty of power make it quick, but I've never had it on the track.

Wish I had my 66 back, it was a really fast car, wife and I used to race all the time. Got beat by a 65 GTO tri power and a corvette only.

Thank you. Just read the comments. Haven't raced this but against one car - 2011 Nissan 370Z. Beat him both runs, but he'd kick my butt on top end.

It was too late to buy a 1967. I was home on leave from the US Army for the sole purpose of buying one of these 'jewels'. Because of time constraints and because I could not locate a '67, I had to give in and buy a 1968 Chevelle SS 396. I liked the car but I wasn't in love with it. Its body style could never match up to that of the classic '67s. I fell victim to unrequited love, never to be fulfilled. Alas---

I agree and think I am fortunate. A buddy bought one when we got back from 'Nam and I loved it. He drooled over this one.

Had a 67SS w/350horse 396, 4 speed and 3.08 gears. got beat by another 67 SS in phoenix one night. Don't know what he was running but I've never seen another set of tail-lights go away so fast.
