Great pictures of great cars, they don't make them like this anymore. My cousin & I drove to all the local dealers at new car time each fall to see the new models. PJ

Amazing! Looks just like the ad except for the chrome along the bottom side. I agree that it is a show stealer.

...Beautiful '55 Chevy.!!!...Gotta Luv her lines and paint job too...Back in that time period I worked at a Chevrolet Dealership and this "55 Chevy became a great seller for Chevrolet due to the new look of this car...I can recall how the dealership mounted one of them on a flatbed and blasted the song, " Mr. Sandman Play Me a Tune" all day long and all week long...They must have sold many of them as I was asked to paint many two tone Jobs at that time...You can read about that story by clicking on my '49 Chevy on the left side and reading the 3 part Chapters I wrote about it...Thanks for your pictures as they bring back a lot of good memories...

My dad had one just like yours (though not as pristine) that he sold off 18 years ago. I found the guy he sold it to about 5-6 years ago and told him if he ever wanted to sell it to call me. He called me last week and I'm going to pic it up next weekend!

Just pours out tons of class at any angle and I love that she is a four door. The 55 Chev really started a major revolution on so many amazing levels. Cheers.
