Waterford, Ontario, Canada Car Show.

Sunday October 15, 2023.

I took in the annual Waterford Car show that is tied into Waterford's Pumpkin Fest activities. Drove my 1974 Chev Caprice Estate there in good weather but ran into some rain on the way back. I got there at 9:30 am and I was already car number 345. By the end of the day there was over 1400 cars there. When I left, cars were still rolling in. Excellent turn out of some fine cars and met a number of fine old car folks as well. Check out the rides. Cheers.

Great car show pix George! So many great looking cars and as you know I am partial to the Fifties and Sixties stock cars. I like seeing the cars as they were out of the showroom without modifications.

Here are my other favorites:

Red '59 Chevy Impala. I love the rear wing fins and the small louver grill in front below the hood. My Dad had a '59 Wagon and it was awesome.

Green/White '56 Ford Fairlane with wagon tail lights. I prefer it was stock but I always had a special love of the '56 Ford.

'63 AMC Rambler Halloween decorated car. The owner must really like Halloween! Nice decorations on the car.

Grey/White '56 Buick Roadmaster looks really great! I especially like the 4 Portholes. Other Buicks only had 3 Portholes. A real classic car right out of the showroom!

Blue '41 Caddy from my research it was the first car in modern times to have a hidden gas cap above the driver's side tail light fin.

'56 Black/White Mercury. What a beautiful stock car with dual spot lights option.

Finally the '60 Ford which I can't recall ever seeing at a car show. I don't have any pix of a '60 Ford at a car show. Chevy sold 1.6 mil cars that year and Ford sold 1.4 mil cars and yet not many Fords are around. I'm not sure why.

Thank you George for all the great pix you posted. This was one of the best cars shows you attended this year. So many great looking cars. Cheers, Mario
