My '69 Camaro

This car was the very first car my dad ever bought. He gave it to me when I graduated college and as you can tell it wasn't in the greatest shape by any means. After 2 years of work by me and a friend you can see what it has turned into. I am 23 and he is 24, I did all the mechanical work and he did the body and paint.

It has a 350 .040 over with a stealth crank, carillo rods and je pistons. It has Dart Sportsman heads, a .520 lift solid lift cam with roller rockers, stud girdles an edelbrock victor jr intake with a holley 750 double pumper carb. I have installed a MSD 6al ignition system. It has a muncie m20 trans. I have also installed sub frame connectors. It is just an all around fun street car.

What are your plans for the 69? Are you leaving it stock? My son just bought a rough 67, he is restoring the body but the drivetrain will be heavily modded.

Nice job you did in bringing back your Dad's 69 Camaro SS. I had a new 69 Camaro SS 350 for 10 years. Loved that car! Check out my 67 Impala 327. Great cruiser! Mario

Nice! Looks like my 67 isn't the only one in that much need of body work.I hope mine turns out as nice as yours.
