My '74 Galaxie 500

1974 Ford Galaxie 500. Made in Brazil, 292 engine (Y-Block) from factory, restored back in 2001. Daily driver

Many may think it's a '66 Galaxie 500, but the taillights are slightly different, as is the front grille/hood.

I added the tach, and the Summit gauges. To give the car a cool touch I converted the dash to English, as the original is Portuguese.

I just love the 60's design this car has. We never had a two door version around here.

Here is the factory powerplant, a 292 Y-Block V8. From 1967 to 1975, Galaxies down here had the Y-Block, from 1976 to 1983, the 302 Windsor Small Block.
