Here is my newest project/toy, a 1940 Willys 4dr sedan turned into a 2dr sedan. The drivetrain is a 54 Chrysler 331 Hemi with an auto overdrive trans. It has a Mustang 2 front suspension and a 10 bolt Gm rear.

In my shop waiting its turn.

The beginning of another project, 2.3 turbo 61 Econoline pickup. The had been stripped, then it was left outside for a few years before I bought it.

I started to de-rust the body and get it into primer.

Setting up the turbo 4cyl engine and auto trans.

Almost all of the rust is gone.

Just got the doors lettered.

Decided that I didnt want hotrod black, so I painted it.

Customizing the dash for the instrument cluster from a T-bird turbo coupe.

Welding is done.

the cluster fits perfectly, now to finish the rest of the dash.

Nice paint and lettering. I agree with your choice about not doing hotrod black.
