This Firebird was modified by removing the rear seats, installing a new longer fiberglass trunk deck, to accommodate the new roof which pivots over and lays upside down in the trunk space. The roof is covered with convertible top material while the top itself is solid.
These were purchased new and sent to the customizer before delivery to the owner. Only a few hundred were modified. One source was Truform.
