Aurora 7

My tribute to the original

Powered by a 671 blown Chevy small block. This picture was taken at my work location in the Bronx in 2003 before retirement. The car and I am are now in NJ.

The original Aurora 7 powered by a 421 Pontiac. Taken at Dover drag strip

Second generation of Aurora. After a 1962 crash the car was rebuilt with a new chassis and nose. At the end of 1963 the Pontiac engine was changed to a 426 Dodge wedge and continued until 1965 when the move to Hilborn injected 426 Hemi was made.

Sitting at the Tangiers Hotel of Daytona Beach in February 1964. That is me sitting on the trailer. Sadly, all of the others with me on this trip have since passed on. Jerry Lanz, Patty Peegee and Joe Black

These cars remind me of a tough bulldog look, wide shoulders..low to the ground...short and compact.

Cool ride! Excellent tribute to the old racer. The subtle flames and Aurora 7 moniker are well done. Love it.
