Inliner cars

Hand made Cars in the USA by Tony Monroy 678-603-3813

When I was a boy building model cars was my passion. I dream of making the real thing, that was over forty years ago! I make all my tools for the bodies. This car has fiber glass fenders, I will never do that again!

Inliner number one. Made in 2010, I call them inliners because I only use chevy inline six engines.

This car is on a custom frame and is powered by a chevy inline six

It took all winter of 2011 to complete her.

This was my first boat tail inliner car that I made in 2007. I used a 1950's chevy 235 engine. Yes I could use a v8, but then it wounld not be a inliner, and alot of us are discovering these fun and forgotten monsters.

GM engines and MG running gear...I am not joking.

About once a year I go to the steel yard and place a large order. I do not make a lot of money on these cars but I sure do have a lot of fun.

mahogany plywood strips and bronze boat nails

my shop

I also paint

I call this "rest area inliner mk I

20 gauge steel is what I use for the bodies of my cars

I sold this as a re-bodied mg

This is Inliner #2.

I graphed ford fenders to this body. To see my cars being made go to youtube chanel 'tonymonroy64'.

I have a passion for painting also
