The 54 mercury is original. It had 45k mi. on it when I got it and the 6volt changed to 12v. Air cond. added makes it nice, has P.S. and I am installing P.B. The Coker radial tires makes it very nice to drive.

Sounds like a nice stable of rides to have at your beckon call. I hope someday to add Vintage Air, power steering, disk brakes AND a Tremec 5 speed transmission to make the 64 a bit more up to date but keep the style and performance.

I graduated High School in 1953 and I can recall a friend from High School having a '54 mercury (believe it belonged to his Dad) and I can recall that there were shift levers on the dash board that was a wave of the future...Yours is really a beauty especially with the rear spare tire...Those spare tire kits were also a wave of the future and I can remember installing many of them in the Chevy Dealership that I worked at..Again I must repeat, she certainly is a Beauty and Good Luck with her...Nick

There's a classic.....beautiful example of a time when what looks like light blue, black and white were the colors of the day. That pattern on the door panel is sharp. If you could share a few more details, like drive train, enighten us to what makes it go and whoa. That's a classic long look for a 2 door...with the long chrome line running through the middle of the car. And the fenderskirts...the Continental kit....stunning car
