Thanks Dave. The 52 Ford was always my Dad's favorite car of all the ones he had. I guess because it was his first New car that it meant so much. He didn't like having to trade it in for the 59 Chevy wagon but he needed the wagon for his job. He used to install storm windows and doors and got paid extra for using his car. Mario

My grandmother in the ripe old age of 55 bought a 1968 Impala, BRIGHT YELLOW!! Wonderful memories tied to cars. One of my favorites is sliding across the vinyl backseat as my aunt would take me around hairpin turns. Not the safest or smartest things to do but giggling until my sides hurt...............PRICELESS. Now it would be a fine and jail time for my aunt.

Thanks Rob. I had to sell my 69 Camaro SS 350 that I had for 10 years to buy the 79 Chevette. That really hurt but it was because of the oil embargo and gas prices shot up. Wish I still had my Camaro!

Don't feel badly, I traded my 1969 Olds 442 AND my wife's 1968 Mercury Cougar XR7 in to get a Chevy Camaro with a 6 and 3 speed with no options. A guy had to do what a guy had to do to get to work, put food on the table, pay the bills and maybe have enough to buy studded snow tires come winter!!!!

Glad you liked them. I started the project luckilly while my Dad was still alive and was able to get all the pictures just before he passed away. They had boxes of pix that I sorted thru. I like your Green Hornet!

Sold my deer rifle to buy the suit. I should have kept the gun, it would have lasted longer than the suit and the marriage!!

Yes growing up in Jamaica NYC I was a Junior Mob Boss on my city block. I had it all back then.

For a certain amount of candy each week the kids got "protection" from me. The Suit and Hat made all the difference!

I also ran a Lost and Found Tricycle business. Very profitable. But I had to give it all up when my parents decided to move out of the City and buy a house on Long Island.
