Yes what a character, and he owes it all to his drug use and imprisonment on his way to stardom.
I love to see him and Jay Leno busting up. They had a show where Jay would drive and make his BLINDFOLDED guests tell him what car they were riding in. I think Tim Allen nailed the ones Jay took him in. That is a true car guy.
What a nice toy box Tim has and even shared some beauties on his Home Improvement Show.
He doesn't seem to be a headcase like some car collection owners. Those owners think they are more important than their cars.
NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice work Tim and Mario......see that Mario you are mentioned in the same sentence with Tim Allen.
You're famous.............or is it infamous?????

Thank you Rob for mentioning my name in Tim's same sentence! Just like when we mentioned your name with the King! One good turn deserves another. Yes Tim came a long way to where he is now. I love his 63 custom Corvette. Maybe we can get him to join your Forum. In any case thanks again and Live Long and Prosper. Best Regards, Mario

Money really can buy anything, well anything but real love. I will take the 62 Chev 409 or the 57 Chev pickup 4X4.

I don't know all that money can buy but I found real love 52 years ago and married her!

I was given a plaque for my garage that reads:
Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy a Corvette, and that is sort of the same thing!!
It's only partially true...
Happiness is a fleeting emotion, it's here and then it's gone.
I have been trying to find JOY in life which means when your Corvette looks like one of those that fell in the sink hole at the Museum, you can still find JOY in your heart that you have eyes to see, breath in your lungs, legs that move and a mind that works, most of the time.
Like you Mario, your joy was found 52 years ago. That's much more important than any car in a fleet.
I'd would LOVE to have that 63 Corvette Grand Sport to add to my Grand Sport.
I am happy just having my Grand Sport as part of the blessings in my life.

Well said Rob, you are a glass half full type of guy and we need more like you. I wish you all the best. As they used to say in the 70's: "Keep on Truckin" or in your case "Corvetting". Regards, Mario

Tim Allen is having a successful career from his original TV show Home Improvement, to his 9th season show Last Man Standing and now a new show on the History Channel, Assembly Required.
His love of cars shows with his collection of rare, hot rods, muscle cars, classic cars, custom cars and trucks. He has several dozen cars and keeps adding every year in his well maintained Garage in California. Enjoy, Mario
