Mid-Atlantic Chevelle Show

Noth East, MD

This show was close to home, and was all Chevelles, it was imperative that I attend. All were great examples of this GM icon. Please enjoy the pics. The Chevelle club had a turn out of 141 Chevelles. They were from various eastern states. Don G.

There is no denying that the Chevelle is the icon amongst icons in the muscle car genre. Sure it was the GTO that got the whole ball rolling, but the Chevelle is what kept that ball roll rolling and rolling and rolling, for GM anyway. Cheers.

From 1978 to 1980 I had a 1968 Chevelle 300 coupe with a 327 that rolled really well. Just a used car then I suppose but she was real sweet to me anyway. Cheers.

Great pictures Don! Awesome Chevelle car show you attended.

I always had a soft spot for the First Gen Chevelles (64-67). Some of my buddies had new ones back then and I was itching to buy one.

Love seeing them at car shows today. Regards, Mario

For me the ultimate Chevelle and the ultimate muscle car period. Will always be the 1970 Chevelle SS LS6 454. Factory lie rating on that engine was 450 h.p. when it was really closer to 550 h.p. It was a car that easily gave Hemi a good run for the money. Cheers.
