2005 The sixth generation C6 Corvette (2005-2013) retained the front engine and rear transmission design of the C5 but was otherwise all-new. Indy 500 Pace Car for the 7th time.

2005 New bodywork with exposed headlamps for the first time since 1962. Production variants include the Z06, ZR1, Grand Sport, and 427 Convertible.

2005 One objection to the C5 was that it was too large, so the C6 measured 5.1 inches shorter although the wheelbase was 1.2 inches longer. 6L 400hp.

2005 Build quality, which along with fit and finish had been improving as the Corvette matured, took a giant leap forward with the C6. Production was 37,372.

2006 Z06 Was truly something special. The engine displacement was 427 cu. in. (7.0 liters), a magic number for Corvette fans. Z06 accounted for 20% of sales.

2006 Z06 The most impressive feature of the Z06 motor is visible from the outside. There is no oil cap on the engine cover. That's because the Z06 has dry sump lubrication. It has an oil sump tank outside of the engine.

2006 The Z06 7.0L motor could honestly be described as a race car engine that was street legal. LS7 427ci 505hp.

2006 Indy 500 Pace Car for the 8th time. Production was 34,021.

2007 Corvette Paces the 2007 Indianapolis 500 For the ninth time.

2007 Steering wheel-mounted audio controls. OnStar is available on the Z06. Improvements in air bag technology resulted in a larger glove compartment space. Cross-drilled brakes.

2007 Corvette was otherwise the same as the 2006. 7.0-liter 427ci 505hp.

2007 Production was 40,561.

2008 Corvette Paces the 2008 Indianapolis 500 For the 10th time. Hertz, as part of their "Fun Collection" offered a special Corvette rental with the "ZHZ" designation.

2008 The manual transmission shifter, which already worked amazingly well, was refined via shorter shifts. Upgrades in the automatic transmission resulted in quicker shifting.

2008 LS3 6.2L 376ci 436hp.

2008 Detailed refinements to the interior made the Corvette even more inviting. Production was 35,310.

2009 ZR1 CSR was the moniker for the new super Corvette.

2009 Corvette CSR (Competition Sport Racing) Edition coupe built for worldwide production.

2009 LS3 ZR1 engine 6.2-LITER 638hp. 0 – 60 MPH: 3.4 seconds.

2009 CSR interior. Total Corvette Production was 16,956.

2010 Corvette Grand Sport LS9 engine.

2010 Fender styling inherited from the Z06 and ZR1 - dubbed "wide body" by the Corvette community.

2010 LS9 Supercharged 7.0 Liter 427ci 638hp.

2010 ¼ mile 11.3 seconds, 131 MPH. Production was 12,194.

2011 The standard LS3, Z06 LS7 and the ZR1 LS9 engines were unchanged.

2011 A USB port and input jack is included with the navigation radio.

2011 LS3 6.2-L 490hp.

2011 Production was 13,596.

2012 25th Anniversary Edition 0f Ed Callaway. 2012 was the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Chevrolet Company by Louis Chevrolet and the event was celebrated with the 2012 Chevrolet Corvette Centennial Edition.

2012 Image of Louis Chevrolet in Satin Black appears on the B-pillars along with the center caps of the wheels and the center of the steering wheel. Corvette paces the Indy 500 for the 11th time.

2012 Special Ed Callaway engine 6.2L 376ci 620hp.

2012 Production was 11,647.

2013 60th Anniversary Edition. Arctic White exterior with a Blue Diamond leather wrapped interior with suede accents. The convertible top will be blue.

2013 An optional graphics package adds full-length racing stripes in Pearl Silver Blue, including a tonal stripe stitched into the convertible top.

2013 A very powerful engine in a production Corvette the LS7 7.0L 427CI 505hp.

2013 Corvette paces the Indy 500 for the 12th time.

2013 Corvette: Last of the C6. Production was 13,466.

2013 60th anniversary nose emblem. The same emblem also appeared on the interior waterfall area and beneath the rear spoiler.
