The 56 and 57 Canadian "Meteor" Fords are unique and rare to see at least for me. I usually don't see them here and they appear to be in very good condition. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Cheers, Mario

I miss the steam engines and tractors. I grew up in Central PA and they had an event called Grangers or Graingers Day at a local amusement park.

My grandfather, God bless him, would always take me and I'd ended up with being able to choose a miniature steam engine or tractor I think made my Leslie?? I could be wrong...I do recall my favorite was a steam roller.

The food tasted better as we toured the immense displays and they had a steam powered lumber mill that men worked. The engines would "putt putt putt" as they performed their task. I watched the huge long belts whirling and twisting as they ran back and forth between the pulleys.

And there was always someone clearing the throat of their Steam tractor with a shrill whistle.

Oh, to relive that time with my Grandfather again.

Excellent post George. Almost as good as Mario would do. There's still hope for us...maybe someday.....we can achieve that height!!

Yes George talking to the older folks is a big plus! I find they have so much to add to their experiences from their time. I love talking to the owners of fine cars especially if they're older than me! Cheers, Mario
