Agreed! And there are so many fine examples of 50's classic cars still out there today. Cheers!

Mario, just a polite correction here. The 1952 Chev you show here is actually a 1950 Chev. Cheers.

Thank you for pointing that out but actually it was a 1949 Chevy so I deleted and added a 1952 Chevy.

Ahhhh……… the Fabulous Fifties and the colorful, chrome laden chariots of that decade.
So many model choices, so many colors, so many options. This was a time that will never be repeated, so capturing the moment is what the Fifties cars do for me.
Growing up in the Fifties was very cool for me and my love of cars began at a very early age.
When I see a Fifties car I think back to that year of the car and try to recall where I was and what I may have been up to.
This is my Tribute to the various car shows I have attended over the years showcasing the Fifties Cars.
Enjoy! Mario.

Me very much likey likey that 52 Ford in pic 17/18 in that deep gold/copper and I bet it's metallic.
That thing must really pop in the right light. It looks so clean and smooth. Not overdone, not underdone. Like Goldilocks.....it's JUST RIGHT.
Hey, GOLDilocks....like the color...a happy accident! ;-)

Yes the 52 Ford had a metallic flake in its Gold paint, very unusual.
The tail lights are custom not original but look nice. My Dad's 52 Ford had the same ones which he added.
Also it's missing the "Jet" hood ornament but a common practice was to "Nose" the hood and remove the hood ornaments.
My Dad changed the hood ornament to an Eagle and gave me his "Jet" ornament which I still have. Cheers!

Amazing to see how many different models had the Continental Kit on them. I counted 8. And what a good job of getting all the models represented.
Another Gold Star on the fridge for Mario. We need a bigger fridge. ;-)

Yes good catch Rob. The Continental Kits were very popular in the Fifties cars and made the super long cars about 2 feet longer!
I don't think they would have fit in an average size garage though. But they're nice to see at car shows. Cheers!

My dear dads very first car was a 1952 Chev fleet line coupe with 216 six and three on the tree. My dad traded in the 52 for a new 1956 Chev 150 sedan. Then in 1959 my dad sold the 56 Chev and bought a like new low mileage 1957 Pontiac. Those were the three 1950's cars that my dad had owned. Cheers.

Those are all nice cars your Dad had of the 50's and I would love to own anyone of them today!
The 50's decade was in my opinion the most changed decade of all. The early 50's cars blossomed into the late 50's cars with so many advances and improvements, hard to keep track.
Not just cars, but in everyday life also. Sadly we will never get to see that again and today's kids will never get to experience what we did growing up. But I am thankful to have been a part of this.
