Ahhhhhhhhhh, Mario.....you shouldn't have!! Insert blush blush here. Thank you and I'd like to thank the Academy and my Agent and my Family. This is such a high honor. It's like an Oscar, but it's called the "MARIO"!! ;-)

You're very welcome Rob! I too am a big fan of the 1940 Ford both the Coupe and the Convertible. The headlights and tail lights are so unique and just plain "cool"! Enjoy your very own Post. Cheers! Mario

Like most folks, the 1940 Ford has always been my favorite 40's Ford. The 1940 and then the 1949 reign supreme in the 40's Ford camp. Interestingly enough the first and last in that decade. Cheers.

That's amazing George my 2 favorite 40's Fords are also the 1940 and 1949. Maybe it's because it's the end of an era and the beginning of a new one. The 50's cars are my all time favorites and the 49 Ford was the beginning for me. Cheers!

The 1940 Ford DeLuxe Convertible and 1940 Ford Deluxe 5 Window Coupe were both very popular cars and helped Ford to produce 600,000 total cars in 1940. This is my Tribute to these two fine Ford Models.
The 1940 Fords were known for their Famous Teardrop headlights and Sargent stripe taillights. The sleek design was an instant hit and helped drive up Ford sales.
The Deluxe version came with a lot of chrome trim and up to as many as 51 options and accessories. The Flathead V8 was still King, and horsepower was rising each year.
This Post was the inspiration of our very own American Torque member Rob who has expressed his admiration for the 1940 Ford Deluxe model. This is for you Rob. Cheers! Enjoy! Mario.
