The Mid-Year of what was to become The Tri-Five Chevys. The 1956 Chevrolet received a face-lift with a more conventional full width grille that contained rectangular parking lamps at each end and a 4 inch longer hood.
Single housings incorporated the taillight, stoplight, and backup light. The left taillight held the hidden gas filler. This further improved the side lines by cleaning up the rear fender with the removal of the filler cap.
Engines offered were an Inline 6 cyl 235ci 140 hp or 180hp and a V8 265ci 162hp or 225hp.
This is my Tribute to the Fabulous 1956 Chevrolet. Enjoy, Mario
