We had our first in town car show yesterday and sad to say I couldn't attend. I had to go out of town. I had friends report back to me, but they are camera shy, they are shy ABOUT USING their cameras. Furthermore, I can't throw friends under the bus. They are, just as I said, camera shy.

That 61 Impala looks HOT! Yes, I know it's red also. That would be the perfect car for a Candy Striper. And for those of you who do not know who a Candy Striper is, Google is your friend!!

Very well, I've enjoyed the ride and as the sun sets earlier and earlier with each day, let's make the best of the day coming up.

The row of red Ford pick ups caught my eye too. Interesting way to display those 50's trucks.

Congrats on your first car show although you couldn't make it. Do you have a weekly show in any particular town or separate shows over many towns?

Hopefully you're getting cooler temps now that it's Fall. I love this cool weather here in NY, in the 50's at night and low 70's daytime.

We only have 1 car show left in Oyster Bay on Tuesday. But maybe I'll find some others before the cold temps arrive. Cheers to you, Mario

I didn't get to see the owner. Many just park their cars and stroll around to see other cars. They all like taking pictures too or go for a beer and buy snacks. If I see that car again I'll look for the owner.

That's a lot of Chevy engine choices you offered in Canada on the 59. But as you said it was based on the Chevy platform. Cheers to you, Mario
