Beachville, Ontario, Canada Car Show.

Sunday September 22, 2022.

I took in the annual Beachville car show in the beautiful area of that quaint town. This town is where the very first baseball game was ever played in Canada (1838). The show was held on the property of the Beachville museum that was a real prize in its self. The Canadian baseball history was very interesting. Many sweet looking vintage tin. Check out the rides and the museum. Cheers.

Well George, you outdid yourself on this thread. Not only a car show but a tour of the museum. Very good.

I can settle the car choice easily and it may shock you but it is:

The 1973 Chevelle Laguna!! My cousin in PA owns the same model which has won coveted awards and even was featured in a magazine. He suffered from cerebral palsey but that didn't deter him in becoming a small engine mechanic and also restoring his 1973 Laguna which I tease him and call it his Iguana. He's a few years in age behind me and even with his disability, he has shown others that it did not stop him from being what his father was. My uncle was that certified Pontiac mechanic with the 55 Pontiac with the Indian CHief head that lit up at night.

Sorry for the long explanation but I wanted to paint the entire picture for all to understand.

I loved the museum pics as seeing how equipment evolved. The whole museum is of course, a step back in time. Things I see I know, and others are new to me.

That's a beautiful gaggle of cars George. Thanks for the double pleasure. Well done and CHEERS!!

A great car show and Museum tour George! You captured the essence of the "Back in Time" Museum and I could feel like I was in that time period. My grandmother had a Singer sewing machine with the foot pedals like the one you captured. I remember playing on the foot platform as a very young child and rock back and forth!

Now as far as the cars there are quite a few that really caught my eye like the 1909 Ford Model T. That car belongs in the Museum! What a masterpiece and incredible condition. Can you imagine the history and stories behind that car. The owner should research it all the way back to 1909.

The Baby Blue and White 57 Chevy Bel Air HT is my number 1 pick of all. Absolutely beautiful and well maintained. Reminds me of the one you owned.

The 65 front engine Corvair is new to me. I never saw one before and it must have taken a lot of engineering work to do. Very unique and unusual.

The 60 Chevy Bel Air 4 door sedan is rarely seen and a nice throw back to the last of the finned Chevies. I was 13 when that model came out and I remember seeing it in the showroom. I was already into the new cars collecting sales brochures and reading them over and over.

And finally your brother Mike's 64 Ford Econoline is coming along and looking good. I know how much work you and Mike have invested and it shows.

Thank you for an awesome car show and Museum tour. I really enjoyed this Page. Cheers, Mario

George, thank you for the warm compliment to both Mario and me. There's so much in this world to find to complain about. But WHO can complain about Car Shows????? Especially the members of this forum. You just keep on posting those Canadian models because your threads are not only interesting, BUT EDUCATIONAL AS WELL!!!!

And I learned to sign off like you...CHEERS ;-)
