Norland, Ontario, Canada Car Show.

Saturday October 5, 2024.

I took in the annual Norland "Rat rod ruckus and classics" car show. The classics luckily out numbered the rat rods, not that I have anything against rat rods. A beautiful area for a car show in a very quaint town. I was actually surprised at how huge the turn out was because this show was a first for me. There was just over 450 cars there. My long time buddy Brother Ted met me there and we had a great day all day checking out the vintage tin. This was a two and a half hour drive one way for me but worth it. Check out the rides and cheers.

Well good morning George from the very warm desert southwest.

My first thought, I like to see that your photos do show "THE 2 ELEPHANTS, IN THE ROOM".

I think I will need to go back to my roots and choose the mid 60's CORVETTE. There's always a soft spot for the C2's from 1963-1967.

Nice to see an A/C Corvair. That is awesome.

Sorry to jump the gun George. I log on and when I see a new thread I go for it.

I do like that notch back Barracuda. It seems I have a hankering for the shorter cars like the Corvettes and AMXs and Dusters and Barracudas and Novas and Camaro and Falcon and Fairlane and ....you get my drift. But I wouldn't turn my nose up at an Impala, Bonneville, Galaxy 500XL, Oldsmobile Starfire,

Another great car show George with so many classic cars! Here are my top picks:

55 and 56 Mercurys both are two tone 4 door sedans and in showroom condition. Great examples of mid fifties cars.

A 1960 Edsel! How RARE is that? Production of the 1960 Edsel began on September 14, 1959 and ended November 19, 1959 with Total Production for all 1960 models: 2,846. And a 4 door HT in showroom condition at your car show. This has to be my Top Pick.

I love the 67 Camaro convertible first year RS/SS in blue and white. What a beautiful car.

The 32 Ford and 55 Chevy combo from the movie American Graffiti is just awesome! I never saw that combo together at a car show. A great movie with classic cars and music by Wolfman Jack DJ.

The 61 Pontiac Bubbletop always a favorite of mine and a beautiful 51 Chevy Bel Air 2 door HT in showroom condition. Great looking classics!

This was an A+ Car Show George and thank you for your 2 1/2 hour drive to the show and posting all these pictures. Cheers my Friend, Mario.
